The core purpose of Te Puni Kōkiri, the Ministry of Māori Development, is to support Government to strengthen Treaty of Waitangi partnerships that enable iwi, hapū and whānau Māori to succeed as Māori.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you are a Business Partner working across the organisation responsible for pulling together reports for the Executive team and providing proactive and insightful advice to the CFO and Budget holders. Experience in Technology One FMIS would be a bonus.
You will prepare budgets for each business unit and carry out financial review and analysis. There will also be a lot of project work to get involved in.
You will have strong systems thinking ability, great interpersonal skills as well as in depth experience of preparing financial information. You are results orientated and can bring a solid business awareness.
This is a role for someone who is agile, has an enquiring mind and enjoys the opportunity to get involved in anything and everything.
